The hope is to be able to find drawings and paintings on this subject, but so far, the hours of searching have yet to yield any. Considering the skill, time and effort put into the 3D process, this is an art and the artists deserve recognition of this. One of the most difficult and time consuming things about this search is being able to figure out who the 3D processor is, in order to give the appropriate credit.
Either way, in order to get a really good 3D effect, I am learning that it takes skill and considerable work to do this correctly and therefore would qualify as art. Others have been done by using NASA-JPL and ESA photos and then further processed by the artist into 3D. This means they did the initial imaging (photography) as well as the 3D processing,, i.e., J-P Metsavainio, Thierry Legault and Ari ( Arctic eye). Many have been done by the artists from start to finish.
The point of the thread is to be somewhat of a mini-gallery for showing and giving the deserved exposure of these works of art to anyone that has an interest and finds their way in here.Īll posts have been found by either doing searches in Google Images, or have been included with the artist's permission from their sites, or CN forum threads. I just want to make it perfectly clear to anyone viewing these images that none of these are done by me. As you wrote, these really are some "totally amazing" images.
